Cardinal Systems Recognized by MAEA with Excellence Award for Expansion
Every year, the Northeast PA Manufacturers and Employers Association (MAEA) recognizes excellence in surrounding manufacturing facilities and businesses among a variety of categories. Companies have the opportunity to submit proposals to be considered in one or multiple categories, and are then reviewed and chosen by members of the Association. This year, Cardinal Systems submitted a proposal for the “Excellence in Expansion” category for its progressive and successful Expansion project started in 2021.
Members of the Cardinal Systems, Inc team attended the awards ceremony dinner in Barnesville, PA to accept the award and celebrate this Company success. Cardinal Systems, Inc. President, Deb Haase and Vice President, Brandon Heim accepted the award on Cardinal’s behalf, and thanked the Cardinal Team for it’s unwavering dedication and perseverance while working through the struggles of construction and temporary changes to operations over the past year. A notable achievement, the Cardinal Expansion has provided considerable extra space for all employees, is paving the way for more jobs in the Schuylkill County area, and is allowing Production the ability to progress and reach their fullest potential as the increased demand for swimming pools continues to skyrocket.
Most notably, the proposal outlined why Cardinal was deserving of the award for Excellence based on the Company’s progressive vision, trailblazing determination, and commitment to the future despite the hardships of the past 2 years:
Cardinal Systems is deserving of consideration for a MAEA nomination for its determination to plan and act quickly when posed with the challenge to meet the demands of its employees and its Customers based on the rapidly changing times. The pandemic brought hardships many companies did not survive, but Cardinal Systems adapted and made significant business decisions to not only grow its operations, but commit to investing in and evolving its people and capabilities to ensure they were capable to change as well.
The Cardinal Systems Expansion Project Team and Steering Committee would like to once again thank the entire Cardinal workforce for their contributions to the different phases of this project, their patience during construction, and support for new spaces that will allow for a more efficient workflow. Cardinal’s commitment to the aggressive pursuit of seeking new ways to better the success of its employees and capabilities is constant, and we look forward to all of the opportunities the future holds. We would also like to extend congratulations to all of the other businesses that received awards; there are amazing things happening in our community.
