Grand Opening of Warehouse Addition

Part of Cardinal’s Schuylkill Haven Expansion Project, Cardinal Systems is happy to announce that the second and final phase of the Expansion Project has been completed and is ready for employees to begin utilizing. What was once a parking lot and loading area for Shipping in the back of our existing warehouse space, is now over 30,000 square feet of warehouse space for multiple operations.

This spacious new area allows multiple departments to come together and work in an organized, sensible fashion, which allowed other departments to rearrange workspaces in the existing warehouse for ease of workflow and efficiency. The new addition includes our entire Shipping Department and is equipped with multiple loading docks for shipping and receiving. The spacious area is home to a methodical racking system that stores all of our finished goods, as well as step kitting and liner track cutting. Our teams are able to complete multiple manufacturing jobs within this area, as well as staging and packing final product to be shipped to its end location.

By moving into this new space, this has allowed our Steel Department to spread out and cover a larger area of the existing warehouse, making space for new equipment such as the Trumpf 5000 and Robotic Radius. As the steel demand within the pool industry continues to grow, this expansion and development of space for our Steel Department was crucial as we continue to grow our business and cater to our markets.

The expansion of our operations in turn means: The expansion and opportunity for new business. This is an exciting time for our Company, and our Partners and Customers. Covid and post-Covid times proved that the future is uncertain, with obstacles and unforeseen circumstances, inevitable. However, Cardinal stands ready, now with over 350,000 square feet of work space and manufacturing capabilities that will allow us to be prepared for whatever the future of the industry holds… and we won’t stop there.
